Pride Week at Hagaskóli

This week's Pride Days aim to positively highlight LGBT+ diversity among students.

Pride Days promote joy and eliminate discrimination, hate speech and prejudice in school culture.

We encourage all staff to participate by wearing or decorating themselves with the day's colors.

Það var líf og fjör í upphafi Gleðiviku, á rauðum degi, þegar nemendur og kennarar brustu í dans. 

Special activities occur during recess each day. On Monday and Wednesday, teachers should release students early from first period.
Monday is Red Day – students attend group singing at 9:50am

  • Tuesday is Yellow Day – LGBT+ shop
  • Wednesday is Green Day – students picked up from classrooms starting at 9:45am for conga dance
  • Thursday is Blue Day – LGBT+ shop
  • Friday is Purple Day – Páll Óskar performs
