Students go plogging

Students collect litter

One of the spring projects for students at Hagaskóla is to care for the school's environment. We've been taking advantage of the spring weather by walking around the neighborhood with bags in hand to collect litter.

The Big Plogging Day was held last Sunday, and since then, students have been cleaning up trash throughout the neighborhood.

One goal is to make the school grounds look nice for "Gott mál," our charity day, which will take place from 4 to 7pm. Wednesday, May 7. We also believe it's important for students to understand how much litter accumulates in public areas and how responsible behavior can reduce waste in outdoor spaces.
